Schaffelaarbos, the beginning
The company, founded in the autumn of 1953, originally started as a breeder of laying hens. In the mid-eighties, the company went through a process of tremendous growth. From a business perspective, the most important activity of the company shifted to the production of whole egg powder.

Modernisation and expansion
Schaffelaarbos started in November 1987 breaking eggs and in 1994, the construction of a new modern plant started, which was put into use in 1996. Turnover has increased tremendously over time and the clientele has expanded greatly, both nationally and internationally.

Modern bagging machine

The largest export countries are Germany, France, England, Italy, Spain and the Czech Republic, primarily for the production of pig feed and dog food. The plant is currently being expanded with the construction of a third spray-drying tower.
